본 공모전은 부산의 역사성과 미래 비전을 반영한 창의적이고 실용적인 서체를 발굴하여, 행정 · 문화 · 관광 등 다양한 공공 영역에서 활용할 공식 서체를 선정하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

that reflects the city’s identity.

This competition seeks creative and practical typeface designs that embody  Busan’s heritage and future vision. The selected typeface will be adopted for use  across public communications,
including administration, culture, and tourism. 

We invite citizens and designers to participate in this meaningful project,  where your ideas can become part of the city’s visual identity.

1. 유의사항

필수 항목에 동의하지 않을 수 있으며, 동의하지 않을 시 본 부산광역시 서체 공모전에 응모할 수 없습니다.
응모자 정보 및 동의 요청서를 모두 작성하지 않으면 응모가 인정되지 않습니다. 또한, 응모자 정보가 부정확할 경우 응모가 인정되지 않습니다.
응모한 작품은 반환되지 않으며, 제출 후 수정 및 변경이 불가능합니다. 본인은 위 내용을 충분히 확인하였으며, 이를 이해하여 동의합니다.

공모전에 응모한 서체는 공모자가 직접 창작한 것으로 접수일 현재 발표되지 않은 신규 디자인이어야 합니다.
유사성 혹은 저작권 침해사실이 발견된 즉시 심사에서 제외되며, 입상 후 확인될 경우 입상이 취소되고 상금이 회수 되는 등
관련 법적 조치를 취할 수 있습니다. 또한, 수상자의 경우 2차 저작물 작성(책자 제작) 및 이용을 위한 별도의 계약을 체결할 예정입니다.
제출된 작품은 심사 및 동의한 책자 제작 활용 용도로만 사용되며, 공모전 종요일로부터 90일 이내 일괄 파기할 예정입니다.

제출 작품의 저작권은 저작권자인 공모자에게 귀속됩니다.
다만, 대상 작품의 경우 디지털 서체의 개발 및 배포, 관련 홍보 목적에 한해 본 공모의 주최자인 부산광역시가 저작재산권을 행할 수 있습니다.

2. 개인 정보 수집·이용 제공에 대한 동의

부산광역시는 부산광역시 서체 공모전 접수 및 심사를 위하여 다음과 같이 정보를 수집·이용하고 있습니다.
• 수집 항목 : 응모자의 성명, 출생 연도, 연락처
• 수집 및 이용 목적 : 부산광역시 서체 공모전 응모 및 시상
• 보유 및 이용 기간 : 행사 종료 후 90일 이내 일괄 파기

본인은 위 내용을 충분히 확인하였으며, 이를 이해하여 동의합니다.

1. Important Notes

Applicants may choose not to agree to the required items; however,
failure to agree will make them ineligible to participate in the Busan Metropolitan City Typeface Competition.
Applications will not be accepted if the applicant information and consent form are not fully completed.
In addition, applications containing inaccurate or false information may be deemed invalid.
Submitted works will not be returned, and no revisions or modifications may be made after submission.
By submitting an entry, the applicant confirms that they have carefully reviewed, understood, and agreed to the above conditions.
All typeface entries submitted to the competition must be original works created by the applicant
and must be unpublished designs as of the submission date.
If any similarity to existing works or copyright infringement is discovered, the entry will be immediately disqualified from the review process.
If such issues are identified after the results are announced, the award may be revoked and the prize money may be reclaimed,
and appropriate legal action may be taken.
For award-winning entries, a separate agreement may be concluded with the winner regarding the creation
and use of derivative works (such as publications or booklets).
Submitted works will be used only for evaluation and for the production of approved publications related to the competition.
All submitted materials will be permanently destroyed within 90 days after the end of the competition.
The copyright of submitted works shall remain with the creator (the applicant).
However, in the case of the Grand Prize-winning work, Busan Metropolitan City, as the organizer of this competition,
may exercise the property rights of copyright for the purposes of digital typeface development, distribution, and related promotional activities.

2. Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information

Busan Metropolitan City collects and uses the following information for the purpose of receiving and reviewing submissions for the Busan Metropolitan City Typeface Competition.
• Items Collected: Applicant’s name, year of birth, contact information
• Purpose of Collection and Use: Application processing and award administration for the Busan Metropolitan City Typeface Competition
• Retention and Use Period: All personal information will be destroyed within 90 days after the completion of the event

The applicant confirms that they have carefully reviewed and fully understood the above information and hereby agree to the collection and use of their personal information.
